I ran across this board today while researching the different ways to tune a turbo Harley.  I bought my first Harley-a 2007 Nightrain last year, and  although it was peppy, having came from a turbo Hayabusa I wasn't thrilled with the performance lol.

Almost as soon as I got her home I started designing my own turbo system.  A couple months ago I started fabbing and now it is done except for dialing in the tune.  I am looking forward to riding season this year-plan on putting some miles on!!

Anyways, great to be here-looks like some valuable info on this board.

Here is a pic of the rear mounted contraption I built. Love it or hate it-I did it all by myself!

Welcome to HTT, enjoy.

Where have you taken the oil feed to the turbo from?

l-eater

I teed into the port where the oil pressure sender goes for the turbo oil supply, and I am dumping the return oil back to the cam cover.

So it's unfiltered oil, do you not think filtered would be better?

l-eater

Good point, actually didn't think about that....

Being that it's a softy you could easily take filtered oil from the port plug on the oil filter housing.

Easy on/off setup by the way.
