Copper-Coat spray for Gaskets

I've read about using an application of Copper-Coat spray on gaskets. Is this something new besides, aviation gasket cement, hylomar or gasgacinch ?

Copper Coat has been around a long time. Used it on copper head gaskets on Shovels [still do]. Works better on some gaskets than others.

Although the can is pretty old this is small aerosol spray can like maybe 4 or 6 oz. Works slick to put a realllll thin coat.
