Anyone have any experience with their springer front ends?

I am posting this in general, evo, twin cam and shovelhead.
Thanks

There was an article a few years back in "The Horse" mag bout a guy who had hit a car with a redneck frame bike and the neck broke off of the bike...In this case I guess it was a good thing as he was thrown clear....Upon inspection of the welds they were "cold",,,they were done with a tig but there was not enough heat for solid penetration...I have seen similar cold welds on early rolling thunder springers...The only one I have ever worked on broke befor the bike was completed,,the welds were fused with no fillet weld....

I like the looks of it but will stick with my stock Springer front end.

Reckon if I had a stock one I would stick with it too...
