hey all-
Was looking for opinions on the BEST ways to clean these filter elements.

  Blow off heavy visible dirt,,wash a good degreaser dish soap (joy,sunline,palmolive) dry out and heres where I differ from some others...I like run a little tranny oil into it to trap dirt particles,,,,don't go crazy with the oil...This does a have an effect on shorter life span,,,but less crap into motor...A new filter is cheaper.

Better yet, get a K&N element.
