I have drilled out a plug on the cases to 1/8 pipe....There is a check and a screen of sorts under,  it has a manifold type fitting with my guage and my 2 external oil line all being fed from that plug..   oh yeah cases are 55

I ran a dual feed off my iron pump once- short 1/8"npt nipple to a t block, 2 45 degree street elbows in t block. Oil guage and electric pressure switch were mounted in the street elbows- this way the dummy light still worked. I once made a bracket that mounted the oil guage to the rear head, The copper line I used kept cracking from vibration, and flexible nylon tubing just didn't look right.  I'm back to a single feed, guage mounted to pump by 1/8"npt nipple to union to 45 degree street elbow. $5 worth of parts from Pep Boys. That's an Auto Meter guage- not liquid filled, has no bubble to obscure readings.
