'96 Electra FLHT tank

Hi Guys. I'm looking for a gas tank for a '96 FLHT to use just whilst mine is being sprayed up. Seen a tank for an'89 FLHT on fleabay. The only difference I can see, is the gas tap is further forward than mine, which is at the back of the tank. Will the fleabay tank fit my frame? My bike is a carb model, not EFI. Should fit, I was running a 96 tank on my 90 flhs, besides petcock position everything should be same.  Correction, gas caps are different, I know one fuel door works for both, and one does not, wont close.
