surfing the forum

Hey, what is the proper way to move through the pages in a topic?? I cannot figure out how to move through multiple pages without going a couple pages at a time.  1,2,3....86  what if I wanted to go to page 40 or a page that is not shown without scrolling through a lot of pages?     I am new here and have been reading different topics and "threads"? for a while, I hope to become more proficient at scoping things out.  Please let me know where I can find out how to use this site properly.  I find this site very interisting and informative, hope I'm in the right place to ask this question.  Thanks in advance,

Just doing what you are is about the only way...unless you want to use the search box and find threads that way
