Whats wrong with it? CRF/XR70 are almost bulletproof.

I think its trash the top cam bearing is toast the piston to pin is ceased to the piston and the rod and without tearing the bottom end apart I can see that one end of  the teeth are worn off the oil pump sprocket.

To costly to repair.

  4-stroke ?  Must be a XR70 maybe ??

It seems you have to do some down loading is there a cost?

If its 2000 it is a XR70 I think they became CRFs in 2004. I wonder what happened? Honda builds those bikes to run at Redline all day long. Must of had no maintenance or oil in the case. There are a lot of aftermarket kits for that bike to up the CCs, might want to look into a 110 kit if you gonna be pulling it apart.

I priced out some parts and it hit over $500.00 plus 12% tax. It is not worth it. At least thats what I think.

Look at the Lifan motors on Ebay. I fixed my sons 1974 XR70. He rode for a year or so and it was pretty worn out. I came across this 125 cc motor that fits in the same frame, won the bid for $102 bucks. Brand new, No carb or exhaust. Still a steal. You can tell that the metal is cheap, but it runs good.

A 12% Tax??? OUCH...Lol.
If it ain't broke... Fix it until it is.

Looks like nobody is selling the lifan motors as cheap as I got the one, but still pretty cheap considering. I found acouple of different places on ebay selling them from around $250 w/free shipping. And like I said its a 125cc so its got a little more umph!

...and when your done with it, just hang it on the wall.
