The MM651's- is is the tweeter or the woofer that tends to fail when these succumb to their fate?

Its the tweeter. The glue that holds the stalk fails and can be noticed by the off centering of the teweeter

Tweeter stalk. .  It's the glue that holds it together.  Horrible defect.  If the stalk looks like the leaning tower of Pisa. .  Speaker is fried.

that in turn leads to a woofer cone that cannot move to it's proper excursion in and out, then the voice coil on the woofer failing.

which in turn forces me to turn on my house alarm (as my 2 Dobermans lost their voice coils and therefore cannot warn me - still will not allow anyone to get out of the house  :hyst: :hyst:)...  :teeth: :teeth:  :hyst: :hyst:
could not resist... Woofer (Dutch word for bark is Woef - Woof pronounced)
