I am trying to figure out which E3 to buy for my bike.  Is the front an MT90B16 and rear MT90B16?  I realize not the same tire, but is this the size?  The bias ply one?
Thanks,
Ray

yes, at least for my 01 roadking. and I dont think any thing changed between 01 and 03
and the bias one is correct. I've got about 600 miles so far and love them of course the ones I took off were shot so any thing new was going to be a big improvement. I got mine at  jakewilson.com best price I could find
2 tires
2tubes
2 rim strip
238 to my door
and the tires were dated week 42 of 08 so they weren't sitting on a shelf some where for years.

The MU90 is a little wider and fits on my '05 FLHR.  The E-3's are harder than the Metzelers that I ran previously.  It's like having too much air in the tires.  I seem to be getting plenty of tread life with them.

What is the difference between the MT and MU Dunlop tire?  How do you find/read the manufacture date?

rking1550

the MU is a little wider than the MT
the date is a 4 diget code on the sidewall someplace  the first 2 digets is the week of the year it was manufactured
the  next 2 is the year ...so 4208 on my tires tells me the 42nd week of 2008.   :smiled:

IIRC, mt is 130 width and mu is 140 width. I think the mu's started as oem on the 04's (?)

MU works fine on my '02 just a heavier load rating

I went MU on a 03 RG with no problem.
