Hello

After I installed a LED headlamp bulb in 2002 FXSTBI the High beam light is on all the time. If I change back to stock bulb all works fine.  The LED is a low cost item. 25$.  Is there a way to fix this or did I get what I paid for??

Thanks

it would appear they have the wrong contacts wires you could just do a jumper and reverse them or leave high on when you want low

I didn't explain correct.  The unit will go to high or low accordingly but the high beam light indicator on dash stay on.

so the high and low beams work correctly and as they should just that the indicator stays on all the time correct?

If that's the case then I would take a real good look at the headlamp socket itself.

They need to be changed for the same reasons

Correct as too problem. But when I put old bulb in all works correctly.  I'll check again a connectors.

My bet is it's X-Feed/F-Back within the LED Bulb Base itself.
