Gann, AAW, UN, and others that know,  :nix:

My buddies wife has tasked me with putting together a package for his bike (2015 Road Glide Special). With a $500.00 limit. He also has lowers and plans to put speakers in them.

What I have so far in shopping cart
PA RZ4 2000D
Kappa 62.11i for fairing

??'s
What speakers for the lowers?
What grill/Modification for fairing speaker setup?
What ring adapters for the Fairing?

I have 62.11i's in uppers and lowers. I started out with a NVX amp and those speakers and was bearly over $500. You wont need spacers or rings if you are using Harley Lowers and the Infinities fit in the fairing with stock covers. I have changed to the BT4180 amp and now I am well over $500 but well worth it.

Do you know if the kappa's fit in the other after market lowers?

If I was to bet on it I would say they would fit. Im sure UN would know better but there isnt anything special about the the 6.5" 62.11i's. Just ask when you buy them if 6.5" speakers will fit..

Instead of making another thread, thought I'd kick this one again.

Biketronics looks like the way I'll head and have their BT2180 amp and RG speakers in their cart. Just wondering if I should go with their 4180 if I add lower speakers. Or maybe add a 8" subwoofer with a port reflex tube in an enclosure idea I have. Would need to add a filter of some kind to feed just bass freqs but wonder about bridging two of the outputs to feed the sub. I haven't gotten into the audio thing much and don't even know what I'm talking about. Guru's, any ideas?

Problem solved. BT4180 on order.   Thank you Bill!
Photons by the bag. Gravitons not  shipped outside the US.

How does the 62.11's do in rain, are they marine grade?  Just didn't want to buy a set and in 6 months be replacing them because they got wet.   What watt are they?

speed limit

I run the BT 2180 with their 6.5 speakers on my 15 rgs  sounds great at any speed any helmet got nothing but compliments all summer, its slightly over your budget but well worth the additonal cost
If it don`t scare you, It ain`t fast enough.
