CVO lower speaker pods and HB Elite on Pre 14 touring?

has anyone installed the SE HB Elite WITH the CVO speaker pods?
Looking at the pics on the sites it looks like the front edge of the filter will go as far back as the front down line on the front rocker box cover and looking at my bike, that's about 3/4" back from the speaker pod.

Just hate to spend $350+ and it not work and HD not want to take it back.
