Trying to install my new set-up. Not going to well.
I got a Sony unit and the HD kit to keep the thumb controls.
All the wires as I can tell are hooked up correctly as far as I can tell according to the directions.
It's an 05 glider classic.
I'm not getting power to the unit, I've check all connections and the fuse in the new unit.
Any suggestions on what to try?
Thanks,
John

What head unit and who's kit?

FatJohn

The unit is a Sony GT575UP and the kit is made by Scosche, the # on it HDSWC1.
The plug-in on the back of the unit has more wires then I need, for the rear speakers and for a powered antenna. According to the manual there's an accessory line and I'm not sure if that gets hooked up to the red which is supply.

That red "Accessory" wire goes to the bike's "accessory" key-switched lead.  That's why you're "not getting any power".  You've not yet made it so the radio can know when to turn on.

Where would I find that and also if you know what color would that be?

Got it, I had it hooked up right but missed a minor detail like checking the fuses.
