New American Thunder W/O Michelle Smith?

Just saw an advertisement on the Speed Channel for the New American Thunder,
with new cast members, no Michelle Smith!!!!  I wonder why?  Were the ratings
that bad they think they needed to replace her?  Not happy about this at all.

Trust me, Michelle isn't happy either.  She was at a local show recently and was talking to my friend who has used her at a few of his events.  Not to let any cat out of the bag, she has some other options she is looking at, so I don't think she is gone from the small screen forever!

As soon as I saw she had been replaced,  I said to myself it was because of her age. 

Is she the same Michele Smith that was married to Lorenzo Lamas in the early 80's?  If so,  I'd put her in her mid to late 40's.

If this is true, AND it IS about her age, they ARE Stupid! I met her at a Toronto Bike show, 2, or 3 years ago now I think, and she was shown to be a Nice Lady in the Publics eye, and Seemed to be Somewhat of a Smart Business Woman! 
I have not had Speedvision for a few months now, as our local Cable supplier took it off the Regular Channels, and now they say to watch it, you Have to pay another $3-4.00 per Month, Plus, if you have More than One TV set, it's another Bunch of money, I Think it was at least another 3 or 4 bucks, but for Some reason $7.00 sounds like what they were saying! Nope, Not for the one Channel I USED to watch!   
Shame about Michelle though if it's true......   
I For one, would Love to see her Succeed even Better if she in fact Does have other endeavours!

I kinda doubt its an age thing. I would think the target audience for American Thunder would be 40+ers since most guys in their 20s and 30s are into sport bikes. She has dramatically improved her speaking and on-camera skills - her debut American Thunder season was painful to watch (very rigid, nervous, tried too hard to speak sexy). She has become quite the entrepreneur and was hawking clothing at the last Biketoberfest. I chatted with her a bit and shes very nice and unpretentious in person.

I was at a show today and got the chance to talk with her. She said that speed want her to stay on the show but not as host. She didn't want that and I don't blame her.She told me to watch the show and email them with what we thought of the new host. She is a very nice approachable and beautiful lady and I wish her luck.

Eat your hearts out guys.  As part of my last job, I HAD to take Michelle and Debbie D. out to dinner in Atlantic City.  Put Michelle in regular street clothes, and she looks like any other girl.....Except for being an 11 in a room full of 4's ( And, Debbie D is nothing to sneeze at either).
FWIW, Michelle is one of the nicest, most real people you could ever hope to meet.  She does not shine when the focus is on her and act like a bitch once the crowd is out the door.  She genuinely enjoys meeting people, and told me she in fact does remember a lot of the folks that she has seen before.  She might not know their names and how many kids they have, but she knows they care enough about her to show up to see her, and that means a lot to HER.

"A lucky SOB that managed to land a job that pays him to ride his bike and eat, and drive around and hang out at bike events and bike shops"  Yup, that's closer to the truth.  Pay sucks, but the side bennies are pretty decent.
