I have a 1999 ultra classic that I have removed the tour pack from and have replaced the stereo with an aftermarket unit with amp. I have a removable razor pack and an amp and speakers in the saddlebags. Was wondering can I remove the Ultra overlay harness to help clean up the rear of the bike since I have so many extra wires now that I will never use. Looking at the overlay harness it looks like it does have a connector to the cruise control module and the roll on switch. Is there a separate cable available for that piece of the overlay harness or will I have to create my own. Other than the cruise control I dont see anything else that would keep me from removing that harness. Has anyone done this?

My neighbor did this. He bought at $28 harness from Harley. I am pretty sure this is how he did it. I do not have a part number to help you out sorry.
