I just updated the stock radio on my 2004 Ultra to the Alpine UTE-52BT. I also just purchased the Sena SMH10R. Is there any way to hear the Alpine output through my headset? So far none of my pairing attempts have been successful.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure your head unit does not output a BT signal to be able to hear audio.
Politicians are like diapers.
They need to be changed for the same reasons

Thanks, Nutz!  Do you know of any units that do, and that are SiriusXM compatible?

(Your piece of information was the one thing no one else could tell me, that makes sense to me.)

To my knowledge no one makes an aftermarket head unit that has the ability to output audio via BT.

Thanks

Can I go through a Garmin GPS unit, e.g. Alpine heard on GPS, and then GPS heard on headset?

ETA: I guess I would still need output audio via BT, huh.
