Be sure to find top dead center on that cylinder before you adjust. Then wait until the bleed down and you can twist the pushrod with your fingers, then set other cylinder to top dead center and do that one the same way. You can rotate the rear wheel to get to top dead center.

Check in the HarleyTechTalk > Documents & FAQ's > Instruction Sheets that have been found > HD > Instructions > Instruction Sheets SECTION

Just a suggestion rather than trying to find specific instructions for specific pushrods...  The lifters have a total of .200" travel.  So, you want to adjust the pushrods in the middle (.100").  So, if you have a thread guage then just move the decimal point.  For example, if the threads on the pushrods are 24 threads per inch (tpi) then the adjustment is 2.4 turns...about two and a half turns.  If the threads are 32 tpi then the adjustment is 3.2 turns.  This way you don't have to worry if you have the right instructions for that particular set of pushrods.  You just measure with thread guage and adjust.

Like Fatboy_SirGarfield said check the HD Instruction board, look for #J01774, that's the one you want.

Very true, but I'd always look in the Doc's Section as well
