I live in south Florida. We have hundreds of miles of straight flat roads. Every year my bud and I head for the hills. Here is a clip from last years ride to N.C. and TN.

This video was shot in one hand while I rhode with the other. It's a little shakey, but real time.

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for the ride!
Now you have to go back and ride it again without the camera so you can enjoy it. :smilep:
Listen to the jingle the rumble and the roar.

Nice views! Thnx for sharing!

Makes me pucker a bit thinking about that many consecutive twisties in one handed fashion though...............

I have to agree with Katfish.
You have more gear then I would with one hand, that long.
I think I would opt for suction cups for the cam.
I enjoyed it too.
Thx
Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.

ya haven't had a good ride until ya rode across the Canadian Rockies

The Cherohala Skyway is really a electraglides dream road. It is plenty wide, and the turns are all sweepers. Nothing tight at all. To comfort some, my camera hand was wrapped around the mirror stem so it wasn't completely one handed. It was a lot of fun though as our speed averaged somewhere around 60.

Now if you want some real scary turns that really require two hands try the Dragon. Thats a road easily over ridden. People crash on that road almost every day.

Going back to the smokies in June with a fix mounted camera, I'll some more then.

Thanks for the kudos, glad you enjoyed it.

Yep. . .  the  Cherohala Skyway  is a  good  ride. . . except  in  fog(low clouds)    LOL
Rode  it  several  times. . .   but last  year  took  a  side  road  to  the  Falls.  If  ya  haven't  done  that. ..they  are  beautiful  and  if  ya  care  to,  ya  can  take  a  dip  at  the  base  of  them.

ALOT  of  great roads  up  in  that  area

I was holding it in my left hand. I never used the clutch during the video. I shifted only about 5 times. It was $89 at Costco. I figured if I loose it I'm not out a much.

this is the mount I made, it is an antenna mount for tubular truck racks that I added an extension to, it works best with the wider bars like the cubby 508's I have, the camera I use is a panasonic Lumix, but any camera with the tripod mount will work as well.
