1992 FXRS exhaust with forward controls

I have a 92 FXRS with forward controls,my problem is finding an exhaust that will clear the controls.It came with aa Vance and Hines 2 into 1 pipe witch ran great but would not clear the master cylinder.I put a set of LA chopper pipes on but find they stick a little too far out.Has any one else ran into this?
