reception problem

so had to pull my radio for an exchange unit because the front end bolts were hitting the bottom of the radio
so radio coming out      the antenna where it  plugs into the radio cracks in the  plastic and was jury rigged to stay in the radio

go back about 7 or 8 months ago had it into a local ocean county dealer in nj won't mention their name but I traced the wire thru the backbone and looks like it was never replaced   although they charged me the 50 deductable and said they put a new lead in

what would you do it is now out of warranty  esp   2011 ultra limited

just pisses me off when told something was done and it was not   rant off
