clicking or popping thru radio am or fm

Years ago u got noise in car radios RPM related. Seems my 06 just started this type of clicking or popping noise thru the speakers & is RPM related. Meaning the higher tthe engine revs the faster & louder it gets seems worse when u speed up.
Not sure I notice it playing the iPod thru the auxiliary.
Plugs are NGK & as after market go fast wires that have been on for 5 years. Noise just started in the last 2 months.

Are all your grouds good? Try running a wire from your HU ground to the negative on your battery.
