Zerk on 2014 up?

No zerk fitting on 2014 up touring? Disassemble clean inspect lube at 25k. Really?

Too many people overfilling/grease dripping out.  Now it's like a dyna.

I thought it was STUPID to done away with it ! I wish i could put one on my dyna with out having to plug all them damned holes :(

Before my present gig i worked at 2 jap bike dealerships for a total of 27 years. None of those bikes had a zerk on the steering head, never took one apart to grease them. If bearings went bad they got replaced. Last 18 years i spent working on Hondas. Up until i left, Gold Wings had no grease zerk.  Alot of them had over 100K on them with no issues.
I really don't see a issue with no zerk.

Take a Cut of a soda BEER aluminum can, apart and drill in a zerk, Fit cut of can missing zerk hole and fully around to cover the frame holes, then you can grease it. :up:
