Stereo upgrade

I have a 94 electra glide ultra and want to upgrade stereo.i am having a hard time finding the part that holds the stereo in the fairing. Everything seems to be for a 96 and up. Do you guys use marine radios or regular car stereo and speakers? Is there a wiring harness so i don't have to cut wires. Not against it but it would be easier. Also i don't care if handle bar controls work or not. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
