Can anyone tell me what is needed to put a radio in a 2010 FLHTP?  Does it have any of the wiring already there, and would a service manual answer my questions? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

service manual is worth it's weight in gold so yeah you need one.

Are you wanting to control the audio with the handlebars like a non-FLHTP model?

are you wanting a stock HD radio or an aftermarket?

My friend is the owner, I will have him get a service manual. The radio could be aftermarket and without handlebar controls since adding those would probably be a PITA. Trying to find a simple way to add some quality tunes.

aftermarket without handlebar controls is definitely the easiest and most cost effective route to take.

Putting a stock head unit in and handlebar controls is very doable, just takes a bit of time, patience, and $

I think aftermarket is the way to go. Thanks for the input.
