Betty Blu's First race.

Betty's first race. we rode her 500 miles the long way to Newton IA. rode 400 miles back the next day. had to unload the T- bag,tour pak ,and clean out the tools in the saddle bags. smoked that Kawasaki vulcan 2000 three,count em 3 times ,that day.
106 ci 204 cams Big Boyz heads.RH/TD's ran a 8.0 1/8 th mile

Who, what and a photo of Betty Blue would be nice.. Maybe I should know but all I see are some photos of bikes in the distance :nix:

Betty blu is the cobalt blue and pewter pear ultra .( with all the touring gear on the ground )
This was 2008 . She has went many miles and accomplished many things since then.
Randy's ( hyperperformance ) Bourget is sitting in front of Betty ,in the staging lanes .

14 more ci and 40 hp later she went to the winners circle. she was running 7.2 sec 1/8 miles then. not to bad for a heavy girl.

I sold it to Darrell Smith. he ran it at the last B/G race.He ran a 11.0 on it ,foot shifting and no engine kill.
he was  in quarter finals in E class. went out to Donnie in a close race in SE.

it should run a 10.7 with him on it,with the air shifter and kill working again. he is gonna run 10.90 with it next year and of course E class. he was 2011 E class champ.big boy can ride.when he has a decent ride. (his luck with bikes aint to good) he's hard on equipment  :hyst:
I will ask about the Iron Man shifter. I like foot shifting ..easier on equpment ...man its gonna be a long winter
