speaker ideas

I want to add a few more speakers in my fairing. The hogtune tweeters look great but are too damn expensive. Im thinking of a set in the lower gauge pods which are not used on my 04. I figure it would be pretty easy to install in the plugs that are in there now and just pop them back in. If I remember right the biggest I can go is 2 1/2. Anyone done this or seen it done?
