Just pulled the std tune on my 2007 883 sportster can anyone tell me if the 1200 tune is the same,timing mostly and excluding VE's .

There are lots of differences, for example gearing, VSS, timing tables, etc.

Have'nt seen a std 1200 map but did a little tune on my mate's 48 ( Sert) and it was way different in the timing tables so I was just wondering.
