I'm in the process of a speaker upgrade and researching options. For now I'm keeping my stock head unit but will probably send it to iron cross audio for preamp outputs and backlight change. I've just about settled on the BT4180, 7.1PRO in the front and the 7.1 pods in the back. This JL amp is a little cheaper, just wanted to see how it compared to the BT. I found a thread from last year when these cam out but no comments since.

UltraNutZ

lifetime warranty vs 1 year warranty (and that's if it doesn't get wet)
supporting a vendor here (well 2 if you count ICA for the preamps and backlights)
impeccable customer service vs a help desk in abu dahbi
RMS 180x4 vs RMS 50x4 - you're going to need power to drive those Pro speakers hence the reason they and the std 7.1 are appropriately paired with the 2180 and 4180 amps
.05% THD vs <1.0%
won't interfere with FM vs maybe it will, maybe it won't

IMO these two amps aren't even in the same category
Politicians are like diapers.
They need to be changed for the same reasons

Thanks, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to stereo equipment.
