centering rear tire

Wondering if the rear wheel is centered in the frame on a 5o FL. If so, can you measure from frame to rim on both sides evenly to  align chain?

Mine is pretty well centered, but I wouldn't go by that to align chain. Straight bar from tranny to rear would be much better. Are you using stock hub and spacers? If so, that should get you real close.

Easyriders ran a tech tip years ago saying to use a long flourescent light tube (a long one) to line up the front and rear wheels as they are perfectly straight.
