Here is the build.  110ci drop in cylinders, SE CNC Heads (85cc), .030 Cometic HG,  58mm SE TB, 5.3gpm injectors, 2-1-2 Fuel Moto Stainless HTC coated head pipe and 4" Jackpot Dyno tuned mufflers, SE Chisel 58mm air cleaner (K&N filter)  on a 2014 Touring air cooled bike (SGS)

I have both sets of cams, which one would you use?

Andrews 57H  or SE-585?

Probably neither. That's a lot of compression, unless you're trying to make top end power, in that case, neither are the cam anyway.

we have done many 110"kits with the 57h with that set up and got some big TQ numbers, the dyno sheets are in the dyno section. another good one we had some good results with is the T-Man 600SM 117/130 on the last one we did with that cam. its all where you want your power at, when we did the S&S 585 it made the HP/ TQ on the top end. this is just what we have found with that set up on our 250I dyno SAE.

Thank you Wes for a reply that addressed my question.  To the others....your replies are  irrelevant because I know where the compression is at. The question was between the two cams, which one?  Instead of  answering neither how about a relevant reply.  I was looking for pros and cons of the two cams.  I guess that was asking too much, geez!  :potstir:

Have you run any numbers through BB calculator to see what you get for static compression , corrected compression  or ccp ?

we just did my brother's 107 build it is the basic 107 kit from S&S so compression is nothing more then you have in the 110 bolt on i would say. he used the 57-H on his build now we have no dyno numbers but it fly's and pull strong !!! I know another guy with a 110 motor but it has the 110 heads and it runs good. But the smaller head on the 107 seems to be the ticket
2006 FXDB , 95" 57H +4% cam, 10:25 pistons: Ported head's. Lots a fun

I think you could flip a coin, those cams will make similar power I'm betting. Put the 585 in there and she how she flies. I'm doing one now but using the stock gasket that comes in the kit - just waiting for an air cleaner housing for the bigger T/B.
Should have it on the dyno in a few days.  :pop:

Yes.  Using intake close of 36* at 1200 ft above sea level, pistons .004 down in the hole, 85cc heads

10.6:1 static
9.98:1 corrected
204/205 CCP

When I checked the CCP I got 204 front and 205 rear.  When I first checked the deck height I measured the stack incorrectly and came up with .018.  I mentioned the measurement on the forums and was told to re-measure using a different technique and the new numbers fell more inline with what others were reporting.

Right now the SE585 cams are in the bike.  I had the Andrews 57H in my bike when it was at 103ci.

The SE585 cams have some serious low end grunt.

It looks like your question was the 57 vs the SE585 and the reply was info on the 57 and S&S 585 which a totally different cam so still no real sheets to show there is no difference on the dyno between the Andrews 57 and the clone that SE made with their SE 585.

It is how ever becoming more frequent that people confuse the S&S 585 and the SE 585 when asking and replying on line to bad SE got away from labeling their grinds starting with the first digit a 2.

Aside from the SE-585 having .024 more lift than the 57H. They are close to the same, numbers wise. I would like to see a Dyno comparison. I would try the SE-585. Why, I haven't see many out there.
