TTS to PV

I have one of the original black tts dongles that I bought back in 2008,there was talk when they went to the blue dongle that there would be an upgrade program for us black dongle owners so we would be able to use flight recorder for self tuning and not have to haul a lap top around,I have finally come to the conclusion that this probably isn't going to happen and should move on.   
I have been reading up on the power vision with target tune and it does sound like a good option for the self tuner with no competent dyno tuners close.

My question is, for me to be able to load the power vision I just have to find the mte file on my computer and then restore my factory calibration and that will get rid of the tts and the power vision will then load into my ecm correct?thanks
