Turn your old smart phone into a dash cam

Have you guys seen the apps that turn your phone into a dash cam? I am using a app called road watcher and using a old iphone that was just laying around.
It has lots of features, recorded in fifteen minute long segments and keeps looping so that it is continuous. It only uses a certain part of the memory for loops.
You can save any segment to hard drive anytime you want or download to cloud.
You can control fps, b/w even speed and location.
You can use your current phone but I want to leave mine on the dash all the time so that is why the old phone.
pretty slick.
