hot weekend in bowling green

sweltering in bowling green.we had the motor spit the rear p/rods out on the first qualifying pass (early #`s showed about a 7.35),distroyed a lot of parts,missing the second round thrashing in 98* heat for the third round.forgot to fill the dump can with fuel & ran a 8.35 @ 172 to at least get in the show,then got beat first round as a 7.60 beat our 7.80 @ 174(only to find a broke ground wire on the lean outs) was one of those weekends

not just us,ive never been to a race with racers having so many problems,tons of blown motors

Not very many records set either...maybe 3!!! Wayyyy Down.
Interesting how new faces emerge under Trying conditions...
I think that the Pace adjustment after the Rain had some influence also!!
