Bassani slip ons, 2" or 2 1/2" ?

Hello all,  A 2009 cvo FLTRSE3 stock. A guy wants to put a set of Bassani slip on mufflers on
for some more sound. My question is which size baffle would be best for performance.
They offer a 2" standard and a 2 1/2" performance baffle.
I will tune it with a sest.
