Just for kicks, what kind of quarter mile time/speed would you expect for this bike assuming it's tuned properly and ridden by someone who knows what they're doing?

2005 Eglide
120"
HD Street Performance Pro Street SE 110 heads (10.5 comp)
Edelbrock 1735 gear drive cams
HPI 58mm TB
Bandit Sportsman clutch
SE 6-speed (3:37 5th gear)
Rush Wrath 2-1 (3" baffle)
Chain conversion with 180mm rear tire

Thanks,
Rick

I did 13 all day long with 95" 37b cams, big boyz heads and FatCat 2-1. In fact 13 was my dial in time most days.

That was with a no launch type start because I couldn't get a consistent 60' foot time doing it.

On a fatboy or a bagger ? OP has a electra glide . I have a 2005 electra glide also . Ive had it to the track a few times . Ive never left the line hard on it as i worried about the belt . Ive ran 12.4's on it pretty consistenly leaving the line at 2500 rpm's . Definitely could be quicker but i never pushed it . Mine is a crate 124" that makes 140/140

The reason I asked is because I was talking with a friend at work who recently road a Gold Wing trike and was impressed with how fast it was. When I told him I thought I could beat it he said his money was on the trike. I was thinking the 2 wheeler might beat me but not the trike. Now I have to find a GW trike who likes to play.  :teeth:

If that was for me, yes on my fatboy. One of the guys I would run with made consistent 11.6-11.7 runs on a 95" dyna with deweys heads. I don't recall his cams, but his compression was 11-1.

Haven't been on the track since 2008 or so.  There is some vid out there somewhere.  Just can't find it.  I did find a post of mine where I posted the best run of the day. From 10/07/2008  Track is Maryland International Raceway.

1000' 10.709

For sure-
Way too many bar stool drag strip wannabes with laminated dyno sheets lately.
"If this bike was at the drag strip", "suppose I was at the track", "let's play pretend I'm at the track...what do you think it would run?", "I'm planning on going to the track but..(fill in the excuse)."
Geez-
Just do it-

My 100 hp 96 ci full blown 2007 ultra runs 13.0 @ 100 mph . 1060 lbs with me on it .
You could run mid /high 11's pretty easy ,  With a good tire .

Never would have guessed a sub 12 was possible. It would take someone a little more experienced than me though. It might be fun to give it a shot, I'm pretty close to Martin Dragway in Michigan.

Why you didn't come down Last Weekend??????
Harleys Only...Lots of the Folks that are right here...????
You didn't see the Billboard ?????

westcomb

Last weekend would have been a great time! ........... Living that close to a track and not making pass's ....... Shame on you!!!  :kick:

I was at the US 131 last night as well ......... no reason to be worried as there was about 100 people that I think never made a pass before!  :teeth:

I wanted to be there (as a spectator) but prior commitments.......one of them was my Moms 94th birthday party. I couldn't miss that.
