install custom headlight

I have an 05 wide glide and want to change out the stock headlight with one from the EU.
The way it's designed is that it mounts in the opposite way the stock headlight is mounted.
Stock has a block on the fork support that attaches to the two side tabs of the headlight with a bolt running through it.
On the replacement it's opposite.  The headlight has the block attached to it so that it's designed to fit into 2 side tabs.
Any ideas on how I can make this work?
