78 super glide 3.6 tank.

I had someone remove the original 3.6 and weld in tabs for fat bob tanks. I now want to go back to the 3.6 so the motor is more visible. I plan on buying a kit to reinstall original tank but I'm looking for pics or tech info to assure the parts from the kit are used properly. I've read a couple posts about mounting the tank while keeping the fat bob mounts in place and someone else with a 75 fxe that were really helpful but the pics have been removed. Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks.
