Any one have knowledge of the outlook for the V-4 H2o cooled V-rod motor. I has informed that it is a NEXT 18 month release?? V-Rod HP+ and V-4 HD trq?? Something about riding a 170hp/140trq SMOG legal BAGGER GIVES ME A DOUBLE VIAGRA FEELING!!!!!

What makes you think it will be in a bagger? :wink:

No, look, I still have a motorcycle magazine from the 1980s that says HD were about to make a V4, and when they didn't the design ended up as a V-Max...
And they did build a prototype V4 in the 1930s.

Geeeshh, the Milwaukee 8 has only been out a month, and you're starting a "next gen" thread?  Lets spend a year or so dissecting and bashing on the 8.  By time the next gen comes out, some of us will be saying "Harley who? what?".  :sad:

Was the Magna out before the Vmax? Sweet running V4.

I believe it was. Rode both the v45 and the v65 and both were nice running bikes. Borrowed each for a day. Still see the odd v65 running around, so they did stand the test of time and were reliable. The 65 was quite a perfromer for it's size.
