Do not remove your baffles.  You were give bad advice.  Baffles serve a purpose.

Sure will affect things, like a massive loss of low end torque, and the inability to tune the bike.

Put screaming eagle mufflers with baffels knocked out.It probably cut performance some but it sounds great better than my softail with vance & hines with baffels. The sporty is carb might effect performance more if efi  :smilep: :smilep:
