Is there a adapter that on one end a flash drive can be plugged in the other end will plug in to a pre Rushmore radio? So that a flash drive loaded with music can be plaid through the radio.

I believe there is. Google a usb to 3.5mm cord.

nothing like that exists.  USB is digital and 3.5 is analog not to mention you would need a way to control what's on the flash drive.  Your best bet would be pick up one of those Bluetooth controllers from Coyote Industries and stream audio from your phone via Bluetooth.

Yep, disregard my last post. I was thinking of something totally different.
They do make them, but I don't know if it would work.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/281806932494

An adapter will probably cost as much as a USB drive, so why bother? Copy the music from the card to a USB drive and be done with it.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

for 0.99ยข, how do you go wrong if it works?  will the head unit be able to interact and control the adaptor?  meaning will it have access as say a cd.  i was thinking about the same thing not long ago, be easy to have a flash drive with all kinds of mp3 on it and just plug it into such a thing.

No, that will not work- wrong direction. That adaptor is designed to take stereo signal from the 3.5 jack and send to the USB port on late model car audio systems. It can not take digital info from a memory stick and play it into your radio.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Thanks for the answers. I didn't think there was such a item.
