I have just installed a Baker OD6 in my '06 street glide.  It comes with a speedo adjustment box.  My Mastertune software will allow me to recalculate the speedo thus eliminating this recalibration box.  I believe the OD6 has a .86 6th, so what would my final drive ratio be?

2:71/1 but I don't think Mastertune is looking for that number, they usually refer to a "frequency" number related to speedometer calibration.

They have a calculator requesting drive ratio.

If your stock gearing was 3.15:1 then you multiply .86 X 3.15=2.709:1
It must be true,I read it on the internet.

just curious why did you do the OD6 instead of the DD6 ?
did baker try to push you into the DD6 ?

Picked up the OD6 for $1k.  The mastertune doesn't use the drive ratio, they use the pulley sizes.  I believe 32/70 for my '06.  I'll have to change either the front or rear pulley number to change the "frequency" number.

Besides that the DD6 has the nice straight cut gears instead of those over priced helical cut ones that chew up HP. Max

I still need to figure out which pulley number to change to get a ratio change close to 2:71.
