HELP

Have an 04 1200 sporty that sat up a while. Carbed bike and now only runs with choke on. Put fresh gas and stabilizer in tank but still have the same problem. Dont know where to start.... Carb looks clean and runs ok as long as you hold the choke on it.

Idle circuit clogged?
Trash in system?
a sensor bad?

at a loss here .... any help much appreciated

Pilot jet is plugged.  Need to pull the float bowl and remove pilot jet. Clean with carb cleaner

Can't just look at the carb, ya gotta clean it.
BTW, use a good Phillips screw driver on the four bowl screws.......press and turn hard, don't burr the heads of the screws.

Thanks guys. That was the problem. I could see a tiny light thru it, but had to pass a tiny wire thru it to get out whatever was stuck in there.
