There is some chatter on some of the other forums that these m8 run damn good with just the slip ons and heavy breather. They are not using any tooners and the ones that have down loaded a map say they run better with stock map in it. I was always told more air you need a down load but these m8 might be different. Please shed some light on this before I go lay down 3-$400 for a tooner.

"They" have said the same thing about Stage 1 on the Twin cams and the Twin cam Rushmore.
Don't believe it, get a good tuner, PV or TTS.
Check the dyno section here for totally stock M8 bikes with just a good tuner as well as the stage 1's to see the results.

Slip ons and all that air! I think they are 14.6:1 almost everywhere on the map from new.
One lean machine. But there is this big timing retard business going in the mid range. I don't get it!?!
