Rear signal relocation for 2016 Dyna Wide Glide

Can anyone help me? I am installing a detachable sissy bar on my 2016 Dyna Wide Glide and have to move the rear signal lights. I thought it would be a simple job but it has turned out to be much more complicated than I thought. Does anyone have experience with relocation the rear signal lights in this type application? I have the install kit but it is a bear to figure out the best way to go about this. HELP!
