Humm, they are using oil pumps from 82; 99?
You would think they would use the higher volume pump from 06.

hdrider47

Does anyone know when in the production year they updated the oil pump parts?  My Ultra was built in March 2017.  Thanks.

So 62400178 is the latest for the oil cooled bikes? On another forum they are reporting it has been replaced as of a few days ago. Thanks

I Reilly think Harley don't care what we think.

Sc00ter

Does anyone know what specifically is different about each of the four pumps?

By specifically I mean (for example) if there is a different check valve between two pumps, what exactly is different about the two check valves...  If the difference is tolerancing (for example) what are the tolerance differences...

Thanks so much...

Well....all I can say is I supposedly had the latest and greatest oil pump installed in my 2017 CVO stage 4 about 2 weeks ago and once again it sumped...Not sure they have a clue as to what is really going on...Harley engineer is coming down again next week to tear down the motor in my bike with the tech and see if they can find an issue...If I hear anything I will be sure to keep yall informed...

is your motor noisy  by chance   granted they make a little noise but seems some are very noisy for what ever reason,  among  other issues.
