Redline shockproof heavy in '98 Sportster Transmission

We are switching fluids in my daughters '98 1200 sportster and was wondering about using shockproof heavy in the transmission.  Been using it in my big twin with good success.

I seriously doubt your clutch will like that stuff at all.

I agree with JB, the heavy shockproof would be great for your gears but not to good for your clutch.

Just exactly what is the name of the Redline Product for the integrated Evo Sportster Clutch/Primary/Tranny?

I've been using the Red Line 75w90 GL-5 gear lube in my sporty for the past 10 years - great stuff!   :up:
