Anyone using the PowerVision on their M8 for the gauge display, whether tuned or not? What parameters are you paying most attention to?

What kind of head temp., and engine temps. are you seeing?

Riding mine to work this a.m. in 80* outside temps., my head temps. were 320*-330*, and my engine temps. were approx. 305*

That's what I am seeing with my M8, normal I say and no need to be concerned

Not positive if it's the same on the M8, but on Twin Cams, Head Temp is a derived value (calculated from sensors including engine temp and others). There is not a separate head temp sensor.  It may have entertainment value on the PV, but when it comes to what the engine is doing,  actual measured engine and coolant temp have a lot more value to me than a calculated number... I've run the PV full time on my last three bikes, usually using the six reading screen..

M8= real head temps and calculated engine temp

Same here. I leave the PV on the dyno and enjoy the ride. :chop:

I barely look at the guage I have now. Maybe we he gas guage once in a while.
No need for me to monitor six other functions.
Now if they had a transmission oil guage on the M8s...
