you need a stroker kit for it too if I  am thinking correct. plus a larger piston than the 117 cvo has . you can go 124"

BigT

Nope, no stroker kit needed. I called Fuel Moto about their 120" kit. They will bore your stock 107" cylinders to a 117" and supply new cylinders with cast iron liners for their 120". I was told their 120" kit had thicker cylinder walls than the 107" Twincams.

To go 120" you need the SE 114 cylinders from the stage 3 big bore kit, or just order a kit from Fuel Moto, he has the cylinders in stock.

The wall thickness is greater on the Screamin' Eagle 114" cylinders than that of the stock 107 or 114 CVO.

whos piston? I seen one of these and was not a wild build, but it was respectable.  128hp 138 tq.  hit early good for a bagger.

I believe Jamie is using CP's and Suburban uses Mahle.

So if we used the same bore  as used on the 107 m8 , on the  CVO we have 124"? Or is it larger  than 124?

Correct. Provided they have the pistons for the 4.5" stroke, it would be a 124".

Sunny Jim

How do these mods stack up against an SE 114 stage 4 kit, given you need to buy extras?

DTTJGlide

IMO best bang for the buck is buy some 117 CP pistons, bore your stock cylinders, add a good cam & lifters, plus a good tune, should be doable for about 2 grand. MOCO kits have never been as good as the aftermarket as far as producing #s.

And what about the heads , any thoughts Jimbo

If you can find some 114 take off cylinders you can go to 120"

The CVO 114" is the same cylinder as the 107", the big bore cylinders are needed to go 120" as the spigot is thicker than that of the production 114/107.

I was using info from another forum, but it was given by a well known engine builder, confirm & measure is all I can say,

BigT

I just ran across a website offering 124" kits using resleeved cylinders and 4.250 pistons. No case boring needed.
