Hey all,
I have a 2010 sportster 883XL that loses spark on the front cylinder for a few seconds then picks up again. This only happens at certain rpm's(no tachometer on bike) and higher, usually at speeds of 60mph or greater. The engine light comes on as well, then goes out again.
The code P1352 Front Ignition Coil Driver High/Shorted comes up. I have replaced the plugs, wires and ignition coil. I am looking at the ecm next. Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It might be the ECM, but given the age of the bike I would have a very close look at the wiring harness and earthing connections.
It could be a 'stretched' wire that usually makes contact until it doesn't, those really can be hard to find.
Careful inspection will be cheaper than a new ECM though!

 :agree:  Pins and wires fail long before ECMs and coils.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Unplug the ECM connection and reinstall make sure it is completely connected.
